Salem Carbosil is an extremely hard and sharp high quality silicon carbide abrasive.  Accurate milling and precise classification system yields a uniform grain shape and produces closely controlled particle size distribution curves.  It fractures readily during use to provide new cutting surfaces resulting in fast stock removal rates on hard materials, and is recommended for industrial lapping and blasting applications.
